Contract Brewing
Brief, Recipe Direction and Demos
Our collaboration begins with a clear brief: target market, usage context (tap/can), style, alcohol content, body, aroma profile, and price level. During recipe development, the process includes demos: based on the preliminary recipe direction, we typically prepare 2–3 variations as product demos so that decisions can be well-founded in terms of flavor and parameters. A demo cycle usually takes about ~1.5 months, and if fine-tuning or a new demo cycle is needed, it may require an additional ~1–1.5 months. When the recipe is finalized, we align it with production realities and stability goals.
Production and Quality Assurance
At our facility, contract brewing is a controlled, documented process: from brewing through maturation to packaging, stability and consistent quality are top priorities. The operational routine, technological discipline, and quality checkpoints together provide the reliability that a brand needs. The goal is for each batch of product to consistently meet taste and quality expectations.
Packaging and Labeling Alignment
The recipe becomes a commercial product when its appearance and packaging are aligned precisely. We coordinate format (can/glass bottle), labeling, and graphic submission requirements, along with any necessary mandatory elements. With finalized graphics, we verify producibility and specifications; for designs under development, we provide guidance to ensure the final outcome can be quickly and flawlessly brought into production.
Scheduling, Production Slot, and Fulfillment
Production scheduling is based on capacity: typically initiated with a ~2–2.5 month lead time from the finalized, approved demo, as the earliest available production slots generally open within this timeframe. Fulfillment occurs with the manufacturing of the finished product; it must be delivered and the full quantity accepted within 2 weeks following production unless a separate warehousing service is utilized. Currently, pasteurization equipment is not available at our facility.
Commercial Terms and Minimums
The minimum quantity is 2000 liters per batch, and annually 6000 liters, which generally requires committing to three batches per year. Demos are a separate charge; details are included in the offer and general contract brewing conditions. Before production begins, a 50% advance is due; the remaining amount is payable according to the contract, typically with a 15-day payment term following fulfillment. If the finished product is stored (stocked), the payment obligation remains according to the contract from the date of fulfillment.
